QuikRead go® Technical specifications
The instrument has a pre-programmed microprocessor that controls the assay steps and data processing. Test identification, timing and calibration curve or cut-off value data are in the barcode of each cuvette. Once activated by the cuvette label, the microprocessor controls and guides all assay steps and converts the absorbance values of the samples into concentration units or cut-off values.
Photometer
The QuikRead go photometer consists of a measurement well, three LEDs and light detectors. The photometer has been designed and calibrated both for photometric and turbidimetric measurements.
Touch screen display
The user interface is based on an easy-to-use touch screen display. It is used by touch buttons that appear on the screen. It also provides the user with messages and prompts for performing each assay step, and gives test results and error messages.
